A senior Manly role with a deliberately smaller portfolio and responsibility for mentoring the team.
The opportunity
Our client is an established real estate business with a long-standing presence in Manly and the surrounding Sydney market. The property management department is stable, well-resourced and led by people who understand that workload directly affects service.
The role deliberately carries a smaller portfolio, because you would also be the escalation point for two less experienced Property Managers and involved in tightening arrears and inspection routines.
The team works on Console Cloud with current processes and templates already in place. It would suit a Senior Property Manager who enjoys mentoring but does not want a full leadership load yet.
The role
- Managing a premium residential portfolio with higher-value owners
- Acting as escalation point for complex owner and tenant matters
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior Property Managers
- Tribunal preparation and attendance where required
- Arrears oversight and breach escalation
- Rent reviews, renewals and tenant retention
- Maintenance coordination on larger works and insurance claims
- Contributing to process improvement across the department
About you
- Several years of residential property management experience
- Experience with complex owners and escalated matters
- Confident knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW)
- a NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 1/2 licence
- Tribunal experience is well regarded
- Willingness to mentor less experienced team members
