Lead a small property management team in South Brisbane while holding a reduced portfolio of your own.
The opportunity
Our client is an established real estate business with a long-standing presence in South Brisbane and the surrounding Brisbane market. The property management department is stable, well-resourced and led by people who understand that workload directly affects service.
You would lead a team of three to four Property Managers and support staff while holding a reduced portfolio of your own, keeping you close to the day-to-day reality of the department.
The team works on Console Cloud with current processes and templates already in place. It would suit a Senior Property Manager stepping into leadership for the first time.
The role
- Leading and supporting a small property management team
- Managing a reduced portfolio of your own
- Handling escalated owner, tenant and arrears matters
- Allocating workflow and monitoring service standards
- Training, one-on-ones and performance conversations
- Reviewing and improving departmental processes and templates
- Tribunal preparation and compliance oversight
- Supporting the BDM through onboarding of new managements
About you
- Extensive residential property management experience
- Some leadership, mentoring or 2IC experience
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act
- a QLD real estate registration certificate
- Able to hold standards while supporting a team
- Comfortable with reporting and process work
