The opportunity
Our client is an established real estate business with a long-standing presence in Varsity Lakes and the surrounding the Gold Coast market. The property management department is stable, well-resourced and led by people who understand that workload directly affects service.
The role blends people leadership with escalation management — difficult owners, complex arrears and tribunal preparation — plus ownership of the department's processes.
The team works on PropertyTree with current processes and templates already in place. It would suit an existing Team Leader who wants a better-run department behind them.
The role
- Leading and supporting a small property management team
- Managing a reduced portfolio of your own
- Handling escalated owner, tenant and arrears matters
- Allocating workflow and monitoring service standards
- Training, one-on-ones and performance conversations
- Reviewing and improving departmental processes and templates
- Tribunal preparation and compliance oversight
- Supporting the BDM through onboarding of new managements
About you
- Extensive residential property management experience
- Some leadership, mentoring or 2IC experience
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act
- a QLD real estate registration certificate
- Able to hold standards while supporting a team
- Comfortable with reporting and process work
