The opportunity
Our client is an established real estate business with a long-standing presence in Chatswood and the surrounding Sydney market. The property management department is stable, well-resourced and led by people who understand that workload directly affects service.
Leadership sits with you: workflow allocation, one-on-ones, training, and the standards the department is measured against.
The team works on PropertyTree with current processes and templates already in place. It would suit a leader who wants authority as well as accountability.
The role
- Leading and supporting a small property management team
- Managing a reduced portfolio of your own
- Handling escalated owner, tenant and arrears matters
- Allocating workflow and monitoring service standards
- Training, one-on-ones and performance conversations
- Reviewing and improving departmental processes and templates
- Tribunal preparation and compliance oversight
- Supporting the BDM through onboarding of new managements
About you
- Extensive residential property management experience
- Some leadership, mentoring or 2IC experience
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW)
- a NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 1/2 licence
- Able to hold standards while supporting a team
- Comfortable with reporting and process work
