The opportunity
Our client is an established real estate business with a long-standing presence in Marrickville and the surrounding Sydney market. The property management department is stable, well-resourced and led by people who understand that workload directly affects service.
The role covers a compact portfolio of approximately 120 properties, with arrears and trust accounting handled centrally so your day stays focused on owners, tenants and maintenance.
The team works on PropertyMe with current processes and templates already in place. It would suit an experienced Property Manager who values structure and support over title.
The role
- Managing a residential portfolio end to end
- Owner and tenant communication, including regular portfolio updates
- Routine and periodic inspections, with written reporting
- Arrears management and the breach process
- Maintenance coordination with approved trades
- Lease renewals, rent reviews and market rent recommendations
- Entry and exit condition reports and bond finalisation
- Working alongside leasing and administration staff
About you
- Previous residential property management experience
- Sound working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW)
- a NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 1/2 licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An organised, methodical approach to a busy diary
- Confidence handling difficult conversations calmly
