The opportunity
Our client is an established real estate business with a long-standing presence in Parramatta and the surrounding Sydney market. The property management department is stable, well-resourced and led by people who understand that workload directly affects service.
This is a department leadership appointment with real authority — you set the structure, the standards and the growth plan, and you are supported to do it.
The team works on Console Cloud with current processes and templates already in place. It would suit a senior leader who wants scope and a seat at the table.
The role
- Leading the property management department and its structure
- Recruitment, onboarding, retention and staff development
- Portfolio structure, allocation and workload management
- Operational performance, reporting and departmental profitability
- Process, procedure and template ownership
- Managing escalated client issues and reputational risk
- Compliance, trust accounting oversight and legislative currency
- Working with the directors on rent roll growth and culture
About you
- Proven leadership of a property management department or sizeable team
- Strong commercial understanding of rent roll performance
- Experience with recruitment, training and retention
- Thorough knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW) and trust accounting obligations
- a NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 1/2 licence (full licence preferred)
- A calm, credible presence with owners, staff and directors
